    The warranty term differ from one region to another, if you would like to verify the warranty term of the product bought , kindly contact and check with original vendor.

MSI General Product Warranty Policy

Motherboards Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, motherboards manufactured from July 01 2003 onwards are by original manufacturer, where as motherboards purchased before July 01 2003, are warranted for 1 year.
Graphics Card Product Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, graphics card products manufactured from July 01 2003 onwards are by original manufacturer, where as Graphics Card products purchased before July 01 2003, are warranted for 1 year.
OSD products (CD/ DVD/ CD-RW/ DVD-RW) Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, OSD products are warranted for 12 months by original manufacturer.
Barebone Systems Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, barebone systems products are warranted for 12 months by original manufacturer.
Communication products Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode,
Communication products are warranted for 12 months by original manufacturer.
Server products Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, servers manufactured from July 01 2003 onwards are by original manufacturer, where as Servers purchased before July 01 2003, are warranted for 1 year.
Consumer Electronic products Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, consumer electronic products are warranted for 12 months by original manufacturer.
Notebook products Depending on territory In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, notebook products are warranted for 24 months hardware by original manufacturer.
( V-series product won't guaranty all using 0 pixel LCD panel )
Complete Set of Notebook In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, it is warranted for 24 months repair service from its manufacture date.
Hardware parts motherboard, CPU memory,LCD, HDD In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, it is warranted for 24 months repair service from its manufacture date.
Battery (categorized as Consumable ) Adapter In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, it is warranted for 12 months repair service from its manufacture date.
Software Pre-installed Software (including software disk) In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, it is warranted for 12 months repair service from its manufacture date.
Software included with the notebook(data, Software CD or Floppy Disk) In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, it is warranted for 3 months faulty parts replacement from its manufacture date.
Wind Netbook Depending on territory 1 year warranty, and extend 2nd year warranty is optional and available now.
( Wind Netbook product won't guaranty all using 0 pixel LCD panel )

AIO Service Policy- For all regions except Europe

Warranty Exclusions

    The following circumstances excluded from warranty coverage
    1. Product damage caused by catastrophes, thunder stroke, faulty electric power and environmental factors.

    2 .Defacing of product labeling (label alterations and falsifying, serial number missing, serial number no longer discernible, serial number invalid). All serial numbers are recorded and tracked for warranty purposes

    3.Unauthorized changes of non MSI parts, modifications or alterations , parts removal in or to the products

    4.Damage caused by operator error or operator fails to comply user manual instruction, such as , but not limited to improper storage resulting in product get wet, corrosion, fell off, squeezed or exposed to inadequate temperature/humid environment.

    5. Internal or external consumable items of the product itself such as battery, earphone, etc.

    6. Accessories or packing material such as boxes, user manual ,etc

To Discern the Original Manufacturer Barcode

    Example 1. 865PE NEO2-PLS 0402XXXXXX.
    (865PE NEO2-PLS refer to product name,0402 represents manufacture year as 2004, subsequent 2 digits represent manufacture month as February)

    Example2. 42SXXXXXX
    (42 represents its manufacture date as February'2004 by MSI)
